We are a new breed of rescue.
Adoptable Friends, NFP is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit located near Mundelein, IL. We are presently operating as a foster-based rescue with plans to rehabilitate and open the kennel (“Bark Boulevard”) and cat house (“Meow Manor”) that sit on our five acre, wooded property.
We believe that together, we can make an impact on the homeless animals of Northern Illinois.
Our Foster Program
Thank you so much for your interest in fostering for Adoptable Friends, NFP. By opening your home to a foster pet, you’re not only helping to save lives, you’re providing the individual attention and love these animals desperately need.
To become an approved foster home you must attend a foster orientation webinar and fill out a foster application.
Our Vision
We are working towards a day when adoptable animals are not killed in overcrowded shelters, where no animal is discriminated against on the basis of breed, and where education and outreach supports responsible and compassionate pet ownership in our community.
Our Goal
Our goal is to establish protocols and procedures that not only save stray, unwanted animals from an uncertain fate, but go beyond convention in implementing earth friendly protocols. In our view, animal welfare, and environmental consciousness go hand-in-hand.
