“20 years ago I answered a flyer from a pit bull rescue that was looking for fosters for an orphaned litter of puppies. That phone call changed the direction of my life forever. Today, with the help of a dedicated Board of Directors, I hope to change the way shelters view their animals, the environment, and the humans that care for them.”

Together, we can make sure there is a safe haven for homeless animals in Chicagoland and Northern Illinois.
At present, we are only able to save animals through the help of our wonderful foster families. But planned renovations to Bark Boulevard and Meow Manor will open up a state-of-the-art shelter facility to enable us to save even more adoptable animals.
